Dareechah-e-Nigaarish

Irshad Kamil (1971-) was born in Malerkotla, Indian Punjab. He is a talented Hindi-Urdu-Punjabi poet and lyricist who has been writing songs for Indian movies since 2004.  He wrote the lyrics for Dil diyaan gallaan sung by Pakistani singer Atif Aslam in the 2017 film Tiger Zinda Hai and also for the song Jug Ghumeyaa sung by the Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan in the 2016 movie Sultan.
His songs have also appeared in many other Bollywood films including Jab We Met, Chameli, Love Aaj Kal, Rockstar, Aashiqui 2, Raanjhanaa, Highway, Tamasha, and Jab Harry Met Sejal.
