Fusion Music Urdu Songs
Fusion music has been around for a few decades now. Dareechah will feature Urdu songs specially written for Fusion Music Videos/Music Albums which have been thrilling Urdu lovers for the past 10 to 30 years and probably will continue to do so for many more years to come.
Aamir Zaki recorded a song entitled "Bhulaa Daynaa" where he used his characteristic "whispery" rendition to achieve an effect of intimacy in the song. Here, in this collaborative song,
اِس بار مِلو تو بتانا
which I am guessing was probably written and composed by Aamir Zaki and sung by Hadeeqa Kiani, the same whispery style is employed by Hadeeqa to achieve an intimacy and rapport with the listener. The song is about marriage, failed or dysfunctional marriage, the mental illness, depression which results from dysfunctional marriages and the video images also portray this effectively. I love the music composition by Aamir Zaki (he is very talented and the most famous Solo Guitarist from Pakistan) and am enjoying the way Hadeeqa sang this. Bravo !
Milestones was a Karachi-based Pakistani Music Band in the 1990's. It was immensely popular because of its commitment to experimenting with various music movements and coming up with a new Fusion Music sound. Candy Pereira was awesome as the lead singer with Aaley Tim (lead male singer) and Ziyyad Gulzar as the lead guitarist. The influence of Milestones on the Pakistani music scene was immense and it moved and opened doors for many more music groups to appear and experiment. "Baat", the song featured here, to me is their most beautiful creation and celebrates the first whisperings of personal love in a human soul.
Aaroh was a Karachi-based alternative rock Fusion Music band in Pakistan. The musical term Aaroh means "the ascending scale in eastern classical music". Aaroh was active on the Pakistani music scene from 1998 to 2009. The band was founded by lead guitarist Nabeel Nihal Chishty and vocalist Farooq Ahmed, who were joined by keyboardist Kamran Khan, bassist Khalid Khan and drummer Adnan Hussain. "Naa Kaho Naa Suno " is their most beautiful and heart warming composition. I still love this song !
Beautiful lyrics and great vocals make this a hit fusion music Urdu song. It was a chart topping song when it was released as part of the music album "Saagar" by the Karachi-based music group Fuzon.
Candy Pereira, a Karachi-based Pakistani singer, sings this throbbing number "Jaan e JaaN" created by the very talented Pakistani music group "Milestones."

Hadiqa Kiani sings Mehrmaa; lyrics by Khawar Kiani; Music by Irfan Kiani.
Amitabh Bhattacharya's naughty lyrics are rendered sensuously by India's very talented Fusion Music Singer Sona Mohapatra. Ram Sampath (Sona's husband) composed a fusion music melody combining Bollywood Oldies tradition with guitar notes. Very entertaining and Sona's performance in this music video is thoroughly in the mood of the song and very enjoyable.
