Dareechah-e-Nigaarish

A modern Urdu poet of Lahore, Pakistan, Amjad Islam Amjad wrote this song which was put to music by Pakistan Television Coporation's MiaaN Shehryaar in the mid-1970's and was adopted as the theme song  for Pakistan's famous short story writer and playwright Ashfaq Ahmed's Television Drama Serial "Aik Mohabbat Sau Afsaanay". The song was sung by Amjad Pervaiz.

    Both this song and the Drama Serial were a mega hit in Pakistan !
