The Canadian ISBN Service System (CISS) is a new free online service allowing publishers to manage their ISBN logbooks, to assign ISBNs in real time to future publications, and to modify information about publications as more become available.

This notice will serve as confirmation that by submitting your data as a result of registering with Canadian ISBN Agency of Library and Archives Canada (LAC), you are granting LAC permission to include this data in LAC web-based product Canadian ISBN Publishers' Directory and AMICUS, LAC's database.
